North Wales Together

Values

Values are the beliefs and views that people hold about what is right or wrong, what is important in life, and how we believe we should behave. They apply to all aspects of life and influence how a person behaves in different situations.

The Learning Disability Transformation Team has pulled together a group of people from different backgrounds to work on co-producing some values for the North Wales workforce. The graphic below shows the outcome from this work.

Working with TAPE music and film, we co-produced a video to raise awareness about the values and behaviours that people with learning disabilities expect from the people who support them. Watch the film here.

Check out the video to the right showing how being involved in this film has reduced loneliness and isolation during the lockdown of 2020.
