Project Board
The Project Board supports all North Wales Local Authorities and Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board to deliver the Learning Disability Transformation Programme and the aims of the Learning Disability Strategy. They help to plan and monitor the delivery of the transformation programme on behalf of the North Wales Leadership Group and Regional Partnership Board.
To do this well, the Project Board makes sure:
- there is clear, consistent strategic direction, strong leadership and clear accountability;
- quality improvement is always part of our thinking and approach;
- there is good team working, collaboration and partnership working;
- risks are actively identified and effectively managed;
- decisions are based on the right information and evidence.
The Learning Disability Transformation Project reports directly to the Project Board. The Project Board monitors the Project Plans of the Transformation Project, and makes sure they are setting and meeting the right targets.
The project board will monitor the service transformation plan and key performance indicators and agree the detailed reporting arrangements that will be needed to gain assurance on delivery summary milestones.

Their perseverance and commitment to the aims of the strategy has been invaluable. We would lastly like to thank Sarah Bartlett and the Regional Collaboration Unit, without whom there would be no North Wales Learning Disability Strategy.
