North Wales Together

Positive Behaviour Support is a person-centred approach to supporting for people with learning disabilities/autism, who are at risk of developing behaviours that challenge. One of our aims is to support staff to build the right skills and knowledge to provide the best support for people who may sometimes have behaviours that can be more challenging – so this year we are going to be rolling out some Positive Behaviour Support training. You can contact Sian Croston if you are working in North Wales and are interested in gaining more skills in this area.

Professor Kathy Lowe talks a bit more about practice leadership and the links Active Support has with Positive Behavioural Support.
