The Chilltastic wellbeing app is a mindfulness and mental health support tool developed as part of the North Wales Mindfulness, Learning Disabilities and Wellbeing Project.
It’s designed to be inclusive and accessible, particularly for individuals with learning disabilities, but is suitable for everyone.
Key Features of Chilltastic
Includes beginner-friendly breathing exercises, body scans, and other mindfulness techniques that users can follow at their own pace.
Offers a downloadable toolkit with practical, mindfulness-based tools and techniques. These are tailored to be safe, person-centred, and adaptable for people with learning disabilities.
Engaging exercises like “MindBubbles,” “Glitter Jar,” “Mindful Slime,” and “Heart Book/Thank You Chain” help users explore mindfulness in fun, sensory ways.
All content is designed to be inclusive, supporting people of all abilities, including young people and adults with learning disabilities.
Users can choose when and how to engage with the app, selecting activities that suit their mood and needs at any given time.
The app also provides resources to help parents, carers, and support staff integrate mindfulness into daily routines and care plans.
The app is available in both English and Welsh, reflecting its roots in Wales and commitment to accessibility and inclusivity.
