PBS Trainer and Practice Leader application

There is a chance for PBS practice leaders and people who want to apply to become trainers to see the 2-day direct supporters course on March 3rd and 4th or March 17th and 18th at the OpTIC Centre, St Asaph.  Email belinda.bradley@flintshire.gov.uk to book a space for one of the 2-day courses. 

If you would like to join the 2-day course in the Welsh language please contact Andrew Guy who is running a course on 15–16 April 2026 in Porthmadog.

Applications are now open for cohort 2 of the North Wales Good PBS – Good Lives trainer and practice leader programme https://northwalestogether.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Good-PBS-Good-Lives-Training-Information.pdf.  This is a 6-day face-to-face programme run over 6 months with tasks to complete between sessions.  It is jointly run by North Wales Together and Dr Maggie Hoerger.  The six sessions will be held at the OpTIC Centre in St Asaph on the following dates:

  • May 6th
  • June 3rd
  • July 1st
  • September 9th
  • October 14th
  • November 18th

 Application forms are attached and the closing date is March 20th 2026.  If you miss this deadline you can still apply but your application may be held for future opportunities.

This course is fully funded however places are limited so we do ask you to make a firm commitment to the programme before applying.
