Inclusive Calendar – Piws

Discover Inclusive Events Across North Wales
Piws has received funding to create and promote an Inclusive Calendar of events and activities across North Wales. The goal is to raise awareness and improve access for children and adults with learning disabilities, helping everyone feel welcome and included in their communities.
Working with businesses, community groups, stakeholders, and the public, Piws aims to:

  • Promote inclusive events across Anglesey, Gwynedd, and beyond
  • Encourage participation in community life
  • Help families feel confident that venues are welcoming, accessible, and understanding

Piws Access Ambassadors

Young People Leading the Way in Accessibility
Piws is also developing a team of Access Ambassadors—young people with learning disabilities who are helping to improve accessibility across North Wales.

These ambassadors will:

  • Attend Accessibility Access Workshops
  • Visit tourism and activity venues to assess accessibility
  • Share their experiences and feedback
  • Be paid for their expertise with vouchers or money


This initiative empowers young people to shape a more inclusive future while gaining valuable experience and confidence.

Conwy Connect Family Transition Project

Supporting Young People and Families Through Life Transitions

Since 2020, Conwy Connect has delivered the Family Transition Project, supporting young people aged 14–25 and their families as they move from children’s to adult services.

The project offers:

  • A single point of access to transition information via their Information Hub
  • One-to-one, person-centred support
  • Community groups and social networking opportunities


This project is funded until 31 March 2026.
